Mobile App Tester (Android) – E-commerce App for Shop Orders
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester to test an Android app developed for shops to purchase items from a warehouse/wholesaler. The goal is to ensure the app is stable, user-friendly, and production-ready by thoroughly testing both the provided test cases and any additional areas that commonly cause issues in real-world usage.
Scope of Work:
Initial Testing:
Execute a comprehensive set of test cases (will be provided).
Report all bugs, UI issues, performance problems, and unexpected behaviors.
Use clear documentation (Google Sheet or Excel) to track each test case result, expected behavior, actual result, and status.
Market-Standard Testing:
Go beyond the given test cases to test the app from a user’s perspective.
Cover real-world scenarios such as:
Different screen sizes and resolutions
Network variations (slow internet, airplane mode, etc.)
App behavior on low battery, background mode, etc.
Edge cases in user inputs, navigation, and cart operations
App performance and crash testing
Regression Testing:
Once reported issues are fixed, re-test to ensure everything is functioning properly.
Confirm resolved bugs and check that no new issues have been introduced.
Requirements:
Experience in Android app testing.
Ability to clearly document bugs with screenshots and steps to reproduce.
Familiarity with testing tools or platforms is a plus.
Must have access to at least two Android smartphone with different screen sizes and recent OS version.
Deliverables:
A complete bug report document (or shared spreadsheet).
A final confirmation report after bug fixes are verified.
Communication updates throughout the testing cycle.
Timeline:
Initial testing to be completed within 2 days.
Re-testing within 1-2 days after fixes are deployed.
