Mobile App Developer for Chef AI

We are looking for a serious and committed mobile app developer to join the development of Chef AI, an AI-powered SaaS platform that helps users discover and generate personalized recipes.
This is not intended as a casual side gig or short-term freelance task. We want someone who believes in the product, can commit to completing the mobile application professionally, and is interested in growing with the platform over the long term.
Current project progress:
Backend infrastructure is already built and deployed on AWS.
User authentication using Amazon Cognito is complete.
Protected API routes are complete.
User and chat APIs are complete.
AI recipe-generation backend is built and awaiting final OpenAI API credit activation/testing.
Google Play Billing backend integration is currently being completed.
The web application has already been developed.
Product specifications and subscription plans are defined.
Mobile developer responsibilities:
Build and complete the Chef AI mobile application.
Integrate the existing backend APIs.
Implement authentication and user accounts.
Integrate AI recipe generation and chat functionality.
Implement Google Play Billing on the Android client side.
Build subscription and premium-access flows.
Handle testing, bug fixing, optimization, and Play Store launch preparation.
Continue supporting the application as the platform grows under the agreed long-term arrangement.
Compensation:
5% equity, earned through agreed development and continued-involvement milestones rather than being granted entirely upfront.
One-time $5,000 cash bonus when Chef AI reaches $100,000 in cumulative collected revenue, subject to the final written agreement.
This opportunity is intended for someone comfortable with an equity-based startup arrangement rather than standard upfront project payment.
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong mobile app development experience.
Has experience integrating REST APIs and authentication systems.
Understands Google Play Billing and subscriptions.
Communicates consistently and meets agreed milestones.
Is serious about building a production-quality product.
Wants to become a long-term technical contributor as the platform grows.
