IoT App Development with FlutterFlow & Firebase
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Project Overview
We are building a cloud-connected IoT monitoring app using FlutterFlow and Firebase, with real-time data sent by ESP32 devices (we handle the firmware).
The app already has a foundation, but we are looking for a skilled developer to collaborate and enhance features — particularly focused on:
Live data display from sensors
History logging and charting
Firebase integration and cleanup logic
You'll collaborate with us, especially on Firebase structure and frontend in FlutterFlow. Basic understanding of ESP32 communication helps, but firmware work is handled internally.
What You’ll Help With
Improve and expand the FlutterFlow UI for a clean IoT dashboard
Help structure Firebase Realtime Database (RTDB) or Firestore for multi-user sensor data logging
Implement data retention logic (e.g., auto-delete logs older than 30 days via Cloud Functions or scheduling)
Set up Firebase authentication, security rules, and cost optimization
Collaborate with our firmware logic (ESP32 pushes data every 5s)
Requirements
Area Must-Have
FlutterFlow Real-time widgets, Firebase queries, data charting, custom functions/actions
Firebase RTDB and/or Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, security rules
IoT Context Understanding of how devices like ESP32 send data (via HTTP/REST to Firebase) — actual firmware is not your task, but context matters
Teamwork Communicate clearly, suggest scalable solutions, help test features across FlutterFlow + Firebase
