Interactive Augmented Reality Children's Book -- 2
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
A "living" children's book
Task: An augmented reality application is to be implemented in the form of an exemplary children's book. This should contain five short texts, e.g. about animals, cars, etc., and either offer markers with which the objects can be displayed in three dimensions, or recognition should take place directly based on the image files (e.g. by registering them as targets in Vuforia).
The application should be implemented in Unity 3D (free version) and a suitable AR toolset such as Vuforia or ARToolkit. The application should run on a PC/notebook with webcam or an Android tablet or smartphone or iPad/iPhone (iOS); AR glasses are not required.
The AR application should have the following features:
− At five points in the text, images should be displayed "lively" and three-dimensionally when recognized by the camera of the notebook, tablet or smartphone. Ready-made assets from suitable free Unity packages can be used.
− The corresponding images should be documented in the appendix together with screenshots of the application in operation.
Stories:
1. Animals in the zoo
2. Vehicles on the street
3. Under the sea (underwater world)
4. Journey into space
5. Farm adventures
