Integrate Configurable Fingerprint Authentication in Flutter App -- 2

I am looking for a Flutter developer to add a fingerprint recognition feature into my existing mobile app. The current authentication method is username/password based, and I want the fingerprint authentication to be configurable by the user in the settings.

Key Requirements:
- Implement a secure and efficient fingerprint recognition feature.
- Ensure the fingerprint login is optional for users but easily accessible in the settings.
- Keep the existing username/password method intact.
- Check users permissions to activate button / section on the home page
