Implementing Background Play Feature on App

I need to improve our existing audio streaming app by adding a background play feature. Currently, our app is available on both iOS and Android platforms and is mainly focused on audio streaming.

Key requirements:
- Background Play: Media continues playing when the app is minimized or the screen is locked, without altering any existing features.
- User Controls: Basic playback controls (play/pause, next/previous, seek) accessible from the notification area and lock screen.
- Persistent Notification: Display media info and controls in a persistent notification while playing.
- Handling Interruptions: Proper management of audio focus and interruptions (e.g., incoming calls).
- Platform Compatibility: Ensure compatibility with both Android and iOS.
- Resource Management: Efficient resource usage to avoid unnecessary battery drain and memory use.
