House project.

Hi, I am purchasing a house and found out in my research, that a wall was removed some 15 years ago. Everything looks solid, there appears no movement and it's not a load bearing wall. There is an invoice for the work but the regs and certificate appear lost overtime. A lentyl was obviously used. I am looking for a surveyor who could come into the property, access its ok. on that basis could be draw up retrospective building regs and apply for a certificate, so there is no issue when I sell the property in the future ?
