Home Surveillance System Development

Job ID: 39533797

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m looking for a skilled and reliable developer to help finalize and scale a non-lethal smart home defense system similar to Ring, but with active deterrence capabilities. The system includes a WiFi-enabled device that can deploy pepper spray or gas after a countdown and warning—triggered remotely through a mobile app.

This is not just surveillance; it’s a deterrence-focused security platform. The hardware and firmware are already functioning at MVP level. I need a developer to help polish the onboarding flow, tighten backend-device communication, and push the mobile app (built in Flutter) to the App Store and Google Play.

Key Requirements:

Finalize and debug Flutter onboarding app (WiFi setup, device claim flow)

Ensure iOS TestFlight/App Store deployment works

Assist with backend integration (Firebase Auth + REST API)

Confirm the firmware can reliably receive deploy commands

Help ensure secure user/device registration and triggering

Bonus if you have experience with:

ESP32 / Arduino firmware

Firebase Hosting / Firebase Admin SDK

Mobile provisioning and code signing (iOS CI/CD)

Building or scaling hardware-to-app IoT systems

Custom security devices or smart home hardware

What’s already done:

Firebase Auth and backend API are working

Web dashboard + secure login + device claiming are functional

MVP firmware for ESP32 works and sends MAC/device ID

Flutter mobile app built and tested on Android

Goal:
Push the app to production, finalize secure onboarding, and make sure the entire system—from device registration to remote deterrent activation—is stable and scalable.
