Help with making the logic of a booking functions in a mobile app [Flutter/Firebase]
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a skilled Flutter developer with experience in Firebase to help me with the logic of booking functions in my mobile app. Specifically, I need assistance in booking and retrieving timeslots for users.
These are the specifics of what the client needs:
1. Each car service has different durations (measured in minutes).
2. Each worker can work one or more services.
3. Each worker has different work days and time ranges (also time ranges can be more than one).
ex: worker 1 = (Services: Car Wash - 1hr, Oil Change - 10min), (Workdays: Sat, Sun, Wed, Thu), (9:00 am - 11 am, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm).
worker 2 = (Services: Car Wash - 1hr), (Workdays: Sun - Fri), (8:00 am - 2:00 pm)
What I need is when the user chooses a service and location, they will be presented with the days of the week and if they choose a day It will show the timeslots available for that day depending on the workers available for that service and day, the timeslots will be dependent on the duration of service, for example:
Service Car Wash 1hr,
Worker time range is 9:00 to 12:00,
the time slots will be as follows: 9 - 10, 10 - 11, 11 - 12.
if the service duration is 40 min
the time slots will be as follows: 9:00 - 9:40, 9:40 - 10:20, 10:20 - 11:00, etc.
4. The time slots will be filtered so it wont show previously booked timeslots, and it will now show timeslots that can overlap with booked timeslots depending on the service duration and booked timeslots duration.
Design:
- I already have a design for the booking functions, but it needs improvement.
Time-frame:
- I prefer the project to be completed in less than a week.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Flutter and Firebase
- Experience in implementing booking functions in mobile apps
- Ability to improve and enhance existing designs
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
