Help us complete a VueJS/Ionic/CapacitorJS mobile app
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
Please note: We won't prioritize by bid amount (e.g. if you're the lowest bidder, it doesn't mean you're top on the list.) We'll prioritize by alignment with our goals.
This is a brief description of the app:
1. The app allows the user to sign up, log in, and log out.
2. The app allows the user to fill out a user profile (e.g. Full name, e-mail, social network links, a profile picture, etc.)
2. The app allows the user to create one or more data objects, let's call them posters, which contain text fields and two pictures. For example: handle name, background picture, logo, etc.
- Among the fields, there are two special ones:
1. Choose color palette. This is just a string value (e.g. "palette_1")
2. Choose background. Also a string value (e.g. "bg_3")
The important thing is that the app displays the poster with the right color palette and a preset background given those predetermined strings.
3. The app should be able to display these posters on the phone screen.
4. The app should be able to share these posters with other people via conventional ways, for example, a QR code.
5. The app will be launched in stages (version 1.0, 1.1, 1.2), each one with new features. Buttons and menus for these new features will be present from version 1.0. However, if a feature is not implemented yet, then selecting their options should show a popup indicating that the feature is in development (e.g. "Coming soon!")
6. The app should be able to communicate with a backend (which is already fully developed; not part of this project) to retrieve posters, edit them, edit the user profile, replace pictures, etc.
The tech stack is Ionic and CapacitorJS, showing a web view built in VueJS.
We already started developing the application.
What is done already:
- The foundation. The application starts, shows the splash screens, and the home page.
- A user can log in and register. So, some code to establish communication with the back end is present.
- The home page: From the home page, a user can choose "Add a poster," and a form is shown. However, no "form submission" code is present yet.
Please help us complete this project. We aim to build this project with the right balance between doing things right, and doing things relatively quickly. So, the idea is to write code that is well written and maintainable to a certain degree, but it's okay to write unoptimized or repeating code where it makes sense, as long as the goal is to get things going, and as long as we document so that we address the optimizations later.
You will be joining a team of two engineers, and the work will be split among the three of you.
This project requires between 10 and 20 hours of work per week, in a time span between one month and two months.
