Help Understanding/Coding In Jetpack Compose

I am rewriting an existing app utilizing Jetpack Compose. I am having particular difficulty understanding how to implement state (mutableStateOf() etc.) and would like a tutor to help me. I may need additional help as I encounter additional challenges along the way of completing this app. I will also be rewriting the same app in iOS using SwiftUI but I will first complete the Android app
