Group/crowd fundraising app - mobile and web -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am looking for an application that can facilitate group/crowd fundraising for both one-time and recurring activities or projects, and allow contributors to contribute several months or even years ahead of a project or activity. The application must be available and accessible through both web and mobile platforms, and it must also support multiple languages. I want to ensure that people around the world, no matter what language they speak, are able to view and participate in our fundraiser. We need this app to be user friendly and provide a smooth and efficient experience. It should be competitive looking at the existing apps across the world. \
It should allow for different modes or channels of payment - bank transfer, mobile money payment, card payment, QR code, etc . It should allow for unique codes to be generated for each contributor in addition to transaction codes, so that one contributor code can effect multiple payments with each transaction having its code. It should allow contributors to initiate their own payments or allow for scheduled deductions or reminders to initiate payments. It should allow contributors to use their real names, nicknames or Anonymous.......and allow groups to add other fields/details example school year group or hall of residence for Alumni contributions.
Taking a queue from how Whatsapp has expanded its number of group members over time it should allow as many contributors as possible to be signed up per group.
It should allow group members to see some brief report at any point in time and some brief analytics such as averages, whilst group administrators see more detailed reports that can be filtered to suit their purpose. It should allow groups to set contribution milestones in terms of amounts to be raised and deadlines, and send prompts to group members when deadlines are approaching or deadlines are up.
It should allow for some KYC to be done by app managers on NGOs raising funds and allow app owners to put up disclaimers in situations of concern or even block NGOs and hold funds in cases of legal issues.
Furthermore, security is a priority, so the app must be able to securely store our users' information and donations.
There are three main categories of users we expect: 1.friends, family, colleagues 2.community members for self-help projects 3.NGOs.The web version should allow the fund raising initiators or managers to build a temporary page and upload pictures and other information to advertise the project or event that funds are being raised for.
The app design should be futuristic by factoring in expected emerging issues in security, developments in banking and payments sector, needs of users, trends in use of social media, improvements in reporting.
