Group Savings Management App MVP
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I want to create a straightforward group-savings app that lets a small circle of users set a joint goal and chip in a fixed amount on a regular schedule.
Core workflow
• One member creates a savings goal, sets the target amount and due date, and invites others to join.
• Each participant commits to a fixed contribution (no percentage or flexible tiers in this version).
• The app keeps track of every payment, updating overall goal progress in real time.
Essential features
• Automatic reminders so members know when their next contribution is due.
• A clear contribution history for each user and for the group as a whole.
• A visual goal-progress tracker that shows how close the group is to reaching the target amount.
Scope for this first release
I only need a basic, working prototype that demonstrates the flow above—simple screens, clean logic, and data stored locally or in a lightweight cloud backend (Firebase or similar is fine). Once the fundamentals are solid, I can extend the UI/UX and add extras like percentage contributions or fundraising modes later.
Deliverables
• Source code with brief setup instructions.
• A short README outlining tech stack, key modules, and how to start the app.
• Deployed test build or shareable link so I can run the prototype on my phone or in a browser.
