Job Title: Full Stack Developer/Development Team to Build a Home Service Management Platform (Web & Mobile App)
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced full-stack developer or development team to create a comprehensive software platform for home service businesses. This platform should be similar to Jobber or Housecall Pro, and will include both a web-based application and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
The platform will need to offer a full suite of features designed to help home service businesses manage their day-to-day operations efficiently. These features will include scheduling, dispatching, customer management, invoicing, payment processing, job tracking, reporting, and a mobile app for field technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build the web platform using a modern tech stack (React, Angular, or similar) for front-end, and Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar for the back-end.
• Develop mobile applications for both iOS and Android using native technologies (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, etc.).
• Create a user-friendly interface for both service business owners (administrative) and field technicians.
• Integrate payment processing systems for handling invoicing, credit card payments, ACH transfers, and other financial transactions.
• Implement real-time scheduling and dispatching features.
• Create CRM features for managing customer data, job history, and communication.
• Develop reporting and analytics features to track performance metrics such as job completion rates, revenue, churn, etc.
• Ensure high security and privacy of user data (e.g., encryption, GDPR compliance).
• Integrate third-party services such as QuickBooks, Google Calendar, and other business tools.
• Test and debug the platform to ensure stability and performance.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance after the launch.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong proficiency in full-stack web development, including front-end (React, Vue.js, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.).
• Experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android), either with native development (Swift, Kotlin/Java) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
• Experience with payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and building secure transaction systems.
• Experience with scheduling, CRM, and field service management tools or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for scalability.
• Strong knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a product team.
• Experience with Agile development and version control tools like Git.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience building SaaS platforms or managing business operations in the home service industry.
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design to create a seamless user experience.

Project Scope:
• Phase 1: Research and planning, defining requirements, building the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) with essential features.
• Phase 2: Iterating on the product based on user feedback, building additional features, and refining the platform.
• Phase 3: Launch the product to the market, monitor performance, and provide ongoing maintenance and updates.
