Flutter Food App: Update, Customization, & Training -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Requirements:
1)Complete App Update:
A new version has been released by the original Code Canyon author.
All three apps (Customer, Restaurant, Rider) need to be fully updated using the latest codebase.
Existing configurations (Firebase, Admin Panel) are already set up and should be retained.
The update must be done via AnyDesk on my system.
I want to be trained on the update process, as updates are released approximately every 2 months and also you need to support & Upload project in Google Play
2)Number Masking Integration:
Enable number masking between:
Customer to Rider
Rider to Restaurant
Restaurant to Customer
Reskinning & UI Tweaks:
3)Update logos and theme colors across all three apps.
4)New Restaurant Menu Management
When a new restaurant is onboarded, they should be able to:
Add food items under existing global categories (e.g., "Biryani", "Pizza", "Burgers").
View and select from a predefined food list (optional) to make onboarding faster.
Optionally, they can also create custom food items under these existing categories.
This helps maintain a consistent app structure while giving flexibility to new vendors.
5)In the Customer app, restaurant menu items currently have a shadow effect that hides the image — this should be removed or corrected to display images clearly.
6)Order Assigning
Add a Refresh Button in the Rider app to manually check and pull available nearby orders within a configured radius.
Restaurant and Super admin can assign the orders to the nearby available riders if any orders got stuck without delivery partners
7) User friendly Login Flow Improvements:
Current login screen confuses first-time users (e.g., entering a mobile number directly without signing up shows an “Invalid Number” error).
Replace this with a user-friendly flow:
Single screen asking for mobile number.
OTP is sent regardless of login or sign-up status (like Swiggy/Zomato).
Auto-handle login or registration based on backend response — avoid separate sign-up logic.
Option : Use Phone Number Hint API (Recommended)
Google's Smart Lock for Passwords (now part of Identity API) can show a phone number selector dialog without needing permissions.
Mobile Number Auto-Fill During Sign-In (Customer App):
Improve the sign-in experience by auto-retrieving the user’s mobile number.
8)Rider Availability Check Before Order Placement:
If no riders are available in the delivery radius for a restaurant:
The Customer app should prevent placing an order.
Display a message: “No Riders available at the moment.”
9)Driver Module Enhancements (Rider App)
Show OTP Code for Pickup Verification:
Allow drivers to display an OTP code to the restaurant to confirm the order pickup.
This adds a layer of verification and reduces pickup-related errors.
10)In-App Driver Shop:
Introduce a section within the Rider app where drivers can purchase Reach B4U merchandise (e.g., shirts, delivery bags, etc.).
11)Order Notification Sound:
Add a custom ringtone or notification sound specifically for new incoming driver orders, similar to the restaurant app alert.
Should continue until the order is accepted or dismissed.
12)Driver Rating System:
Allow customers to rate the driver after delivery (e.g., 1 to 5 stars).
Optional: Include short feedback or predefined tags (e.g., "On Time", "Polite", "Late").
