Flutter App Background API Implementer

I am developing a cross-platform Flutter application (for both iOS and Android) and I need a skilled Flutter developer with experience in implementing background API calls. The application needs to call a REST API in the background, i.e., when the app is paused or when it is destroyed.
Key Requirements:
- The API should be called as frequently as possible.
- Any implementation can be used, whether with a plugin or with native implementation.
- Local notifications should be created to demonstrate that the background worker is functional. These notifications should indicate when the app is paused and when it has been destroyed.
