End-to-End Wearable Device Development

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m creating a wrist-mounted wearable that unifies fitness tracking and health monitoring, and I need the full stack—both software and hardware—taken from concept to working prototype. On the software side the device must reliably log activity metrics (steps, distance, calories) while running continuous health checks such as heart-rate and SpO₂, syncing all data over Bluetooth Low Energy to a simple mobile companion app or cloud API.

Hardware has equal weight: the design must bring together accurate motion and bio-sensors, an energy-efficient display that remains readable outdoors, and a battery solution sized for at least 24 hours of real-world use without bulk. PCB layout, component selection, power budgeting, and firmware that drives the sensors/display while squeezing every milliamp are all part of the scope.

Deliverables
• Schematics, PCB files, and BOM for sensor-display-battery integration
• Firmware source with clear build instructions (preferably C/C++ for ARM Cortex or similar, FreeRTOS acceptable)
• Mobile app or documented API demonstrating data sync and visualization
• Tested prototype proving reliable fitness and health data capture

Acceptance is based on continuous logging accuracy within standard consumer-grade tolerances, 24-hour battery endurance during mixed use, and a smooth data hand-off to the software layer. Continuous collaboration is welcome; I’ll handle certification and mass-production once the prototype meets these markers.
