Egyptian Role-Playing Mobile Game

Job ID: 40362368

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m planning a smartphone RPG that adapts the “One State” formula to modern-day Egypt. The game must feel authentically Egyptian without slipping into textbook history; think vibrant Cairo streets, Nubian-inspired villages, local slang, familiar foods, and everyday teen dilemmas woven into quests and dialogue. Cultural setting and living traditions should drive the narrative, items, NPC behaviour, soundtrack, and in-game events.

Core experience
• Role-playing progression with customisable characters, branching storylines, and light social‐simulation elements that resonate with teenagers.
• Mechanics can echo the open-world freedom and community features players recognise from “One State,” yet redesigned for our locale.

I need a developer (or small team) who can deliver a playable vertical slice on mobile—Unity or Unreal are both fine—covering:
1. One main hub area (approx. three city blocks) full of Egyptian flavour.
2. Basic movement, dialogue trees, inventory, and at least two culturally themed quests.
3. A UI style guide, art bible, and modular asset pack so we can scale later.
4. Build files for iOS and Android plus commented source project.

Clean, efficient code, clear folder structure, and concise documentation will be part of acceptance. If you have shipped mobile RPGs before and can show how you’ll embed real local customs instead of generic desert clichés, let’s talk.
