Educational App Development - Android
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m building a mobile learning hub that turns for school going children. The app will have video lessons, interactive quizzes, and concise reading summaries into one smooth flow so students can watch, test themselves, then review key points on any device.
Audience & Scope
• Target users are teenagers, so the interface must feel modern, social-media friendly, and never childish.
• Launch subjects are Mathematics and Science, but the architecture should leave room for future additions— GK, Current Affairs, etc.
• Content formats: streamed or cached videos, self-marking quiz questions with instant feedback, and scrollable reading notes that can embed images, formulas, or diagrams.
Core Functionality
1. On-boarding that lets teens choose grade level and weekly study goals.
2. Subject navigator that drills down Topic → Lesson → Quiz, with completion tracking.
3. Secure accounts and cloud sync so progress follows users across iOS and Android.
4. Simple content-management dashboard where I can upload lessons and see usage stats.
5. Goal-based push notifications to nudge learners back in at the right moments.
Tech & Delivery
A cross-platform stack such as React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform makes sense for speed and shared code, but I’m open to any approach you can justify. Whatever stack we pick needs to:
• handle offline caching for videos and reading material
• auto-grade quizzes even without connectivity, then sync results later
• pass App Store and Google Play reviews without extra re-work.
Acceptance Criteria
• Seamless playback through orientation changes and network drops
• Quiz scores stored locally first, then synced reliably
• Clean UI that teens can navigate in under 30 seconds on first use.
