Eco-Gamification Mobile Apps For Climate Action
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
I am looking for a proficient mobile app developer to create a climate action and sustainability app for both iOS and Android platforms. The app should include high-quality gamification features centered primarily around informative quizzes and points scoring system with rewards and loyalty center.
The key features of the app will include:
- Quizification: engaging, informative quizzes to raise awareness about climate change and sustainability.
- Gamification: user engagement through points and rewards system to incentivize eco-friendly actions.
- Connection with Insurance Companies: The app needs to integrate with insurance companies' systems using APIs, mainly to fetch insurance quotes and policy purchase options.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
- Cross-platform app development to ensure a smooth and consistent user experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Creating engaging and educational gamification features.
- API integrations to fetch data from external systems, specifically insurance systems.
Your core responsibility would be to design, develop and publish a visually appealing and interactive application that seamlessly provides users with insurance quotes and policy purchases, while educating them about the importance of sustainability through exciting quizzes. By effectively combining climate action, education, and insurance procedures - the app will serve as a multi-faceted platform.
The apps will also need an administrator dashboard to:
1) Access user data and activity
2) Send Push Notifications
3) Add/Edit/Remove quiz databank - for each question, manage type, category, difficulty level etc.
4) Manage users
5) Manage badge and point system
6) Manage main app screen educational content
The gamification will require:
1) On Demand quizzes - utilizing the question bank
2) Compete quizzes - where users can challenge other users can challenge others for 1:1 or multiple-user quiz game, up to 20 users (when other users have allowed competitions)
3) Leaderboard - weekly / monthly by Country
4) Award points for taking on-demand and compete quizzes
5) Award points for winning 1,2,3 positions in compete quizzes
6) Award badges for different actions taken - also manage badge system where admin could add/remove/edit new badges and categories
7) Award points/badges for users clicking and reading through main screen educational content tiles
Loyalty System:
1) Loyalty center will offer users financial products at discounts conditionally. For example, if a user has a certain badge type or points level, they can get 5% discount code for some products.
2) Insurance products - a marketplace for insurance products + API setup to get quotes + API setup to buy policies
