Develop Internal Use App
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are looking for a developer to design 2 simple, similar, internal applications, for a retail store.
The first application would be used by our employees to type in a product barcode (or scan with a scanner), and be able to view item information of the item (price, stock, product name).
This application also needs to be able to then print that information to the desired format.
The second application would a tablet application, for customer use, as a price check tool. Customers would scan a barcode on a tablet, and the tablet will display item name, price, and image - and after a few seconds, the screen would reset again to the main scan prompt.
The apps must be simple yet on brand in design - and secure. No information is to be stored, cached, or transmitted outside of the scope to query and display the data, before being being cleared again.
All the item information (barcodes, name, descriptions, price, inventory, etc) can be accessed via Open API to our Point of Sale database.
