Custom React Native Picker Component
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
We are looking for an experienced React Native developer who can create a custom picker component for our mobile app, which is being developed using Expo. The picker will be a crucial part of our user interface, allowing users to scroll through and select from a variety of options.
Key Requirements:
The component needs to be developed in TypeScript and be fully compatible with Expo React Native.
Custom picker component should match the design provided (see attached image).
Ability to pass an array of React elements (e.g., text components with different heights) to display as items in the picker.
The component should allow for smooth scrolling.
The selected element should always be centered.
Incorporation of left and right labels with icons, as shown in the image.
Capability to style active and inactive items (any style), as well as other component parts like separators.
Additional Specifications:
The component must be compatible with Expo React Native.
We require the ability to customize styles for various parts of the component, including active/inactive items and separators.
The functionality should be encapsulated within a reusable component.
The final product should perform well on both iOS and Android platforms.
Project Deliverables:
The final custom picker component that fulfills the above requirements.
Source code of the component.
Documentation on how to integrate and use the component and should be wel typed
A simple demo within an Expo React Native project showcasing the custom picker in action.
Please include examples of previous work with React Native, especially any custom components you have created or worked with. Proposals without work samples will not be considered.
