Custom GPS Fleet Tracking Platform
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am building a full-stack GPS fleet-management solution and need an experienced team to take it from concept to launch. Core functionality must include real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing with instant alerts, and intelligent route optimization that recalculates on the fly.
The project has three visible layers:
• Native Android and iOS apps that mirror one another in features, connect to external GPS devices via secure APIs, and push live notifications to drivers and dispatchers.
• A responsive web portal for fleet operators. On the web side I want a fresh, modern design overhaul—clean typography, intuitive navigation, and data-heavy dashboards that visualise routes, stops, speed and idle time without overwhelming the user.
• A shared backend that handles device integrations, high-frequency location data, geofence logic and route algorithms, exposed through a well-documented REST/GraphQL API.
Deliverables I will review for acceptance:
1. Figma (or similar) mock-ups showing the updated web UI, approved before coding begins.
2. Production-ready Android and iOS applications uploaded to TestFlight/Google Play internal testing tracks, built with Kotlin/Swift (or React Native/Flutter if you can demonstrate equal performance).
3. A responsive web app deployed to a staging URL featuring the new modern design and all tracking features.
4. API documentation and a short video walkthrough proving real-time tracking, geofence breach alerts and route optimisation running with mock data.
If you have proven experience in GPS, mapping SDKs (Google Maps, Mapbox) and scalable back-end stacks (Node.js, Django, Go, etc.), let’s discuss the timeline and your proposed architecture.
