Build a branded communication platform with custom barcode authentication and scanning features. Open to Rocket.Chat, other platforms, or custom solution.
Essential Features:
Employee barcode authentication - Login via scanning employee ID badges
Document barcode scanning - 20-digit barcode processing with validation. Barcode is logged in the chat and can be visualized by other user to scan to access file within our other internal (not connected) software
Custom branding - Blue theme (#4a90a4, #87ceeb), custom logos, full UI customization
Google Sheets integration - Employee data sync from existing spreadsheet (other database okay also)
Mobile apps - iOS/Android with unlimited push notifications
5 custom channels - Pre-configured communication channels + direct messaing available
Real-time messaging - Must perform like Slack/Teams

Mattermost - Open source with custom plugins
