Flutter/MapLibre Developer for Marine Navigation App

Project Overview
We're developing a cross-platform marine navigation app (iOS/Android) for StrikeLines.com that will allow users to view and navigate using offline nautical charts. The app will be built using Flutter and MapLibre, focusing on offline map capabilities and integration with our existing web platform.

Core Requirements:
-Implement offline raster map rendering (.mbtiles formats)
-Create location-based navigation features (waypoints, tracks, direct-to navigation)
-Develop offline map management and authentication
-Integrate with StrikeLines.com for user accounts and map purchases
-Ensure reliable cross-platform performance on both iOS and Android

Technical Skills Required
-Strong Flutter development experience (2+ years preferred)
-Experience with mapping libraries, particularly MapLibre/Mapbox GL
-Knowledge of GPS/location services implementation in mobile apps
-Experience with offline data storage and synchronization
-Experience with RESTful API integration
-Comfortable with cross-platform compilation and troubleshooting

Project Phases

1. Framework evaluation - Test Flutter/MapLibre compatibility for our requirements
2. Core map functionality - Implement offline maps, location services, basic controls
3. User data management - Build waypoint/track systems with import/export capabilities
4. StrikeLines.com integration - Implement authentication and map purchasing
5. UI/UX refinement - Polish the interface and optimize performance

Project Timeline
--We estimate this project will take 3-4 months to complete. We're looking for a developer who can commit approximately 20-30 hours per week.
