Cross-Platform Restaurant Service App

Job ID: 37848854

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I am looking for a savvy mobile app developer to help build a food service application that caters to both iOS and Android platforms. The primary function of this app will be for customers to place orders from the restaurant's menu online.

The mobile app will be like a food delivery app but inside a restaurant. The idea is, once inside a certain restaurant, the customer (or customers of the same table) makes a link between himself and the waiter so they can interact during the stay until the bill is closed. This way, the customer will be aware in real time of the list of products that are being added to the bill and the amount of the bill itself.

Through this app, the customer could ask for food, beverages, desserts, etc., based on the online restaurant menu to minimize the waiting time locating and calling the waiter to take the order or finishing the bill.

There will be 3 profiles:

1. Restaurant Owner or Manager
2. Waiter
3. End customer

Profile 1 is personalized, that is, each user must register with their data, it will be applicable only to legal entities, companies registered as Restaurants.
Profile 2 won’t be personalized but will have an authorized profile from Profile 1 to act as a waiter.
Profile 3 won’t be personalized at all and will have a temporary relationship with Profile 2 during the stay at the restaurant. The temporary link will be done using a QR or a random code that Profile1 and Profile2 will share each other.

Profile 1 must manage the menu of the restaurant in the app. To do this, an interface must be designed that allows him to include this information in detail: name of the dishes, quantity, characteristics, weight, calories, price, volume discounts, temporary promotions, etc., that is, allowing him to be very specific, but without customizing the interface to a particular restaurant. This implies that there will be mandatory options and some others that will be optional like restaurant logo, background color, fonts.

Profile 2 will be the interface between the Restaurant and the Client, that is: the waiter

Profile 3 will be the end user, who places the order by choosing all the options offered by the menu. This app will show the client a list of subscribed restaurants nearby and will offer the option of viewing the online menu. Once at the restaurant, will ask for service offering the waiter a temporary QR or code to make the link.

There will be push notifications at the customer level, to inform about promotions or prizes, as well as interactions messages with the waiter while being attended.

A web development only available for profile 1 will also be required in order to facilitate updating the menu and viewing a Dashboard with information on the history of orders, sales, commissions, etc.

The restaurant will have a full month free service and then, depending on the billing using the app, there will be a monthly fee for offering this service to their customers. Stripe platform will be used
