Cross-Platform Productivity App Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
To be considered for this app, your response MUST include the words “tools” in your bid.
I'm seeking an experienced mobile app developer to create an app for the mechanic trade. I am looking for an app that can easily allow the user to input date of their inventory of tools.
The reason for this app is to allow the user to be able to track the amount of tools acquired, a list to be able to see and change, a list to be able to export in pdf format to send to insurance companies and employers for insurance reasons.
All data exported must be able to be customized as to what is exported.
All exported information must be able to choose options to export and have total value amounts.
This app must be able to store all information for every tool they have in their inventory. Tools will have singular serial number and group serial number, as well as photos, manufacturer name, model name, purchase date, purchase price, purchase location, warranty information, color, etc.
There should be the availability to add custom fields for information store on each item.
Each item must have the option to upload by photo of a receipt of the purchase.
Ideally this app will be able to sort tools in the toolboxes they are stored. For example: I can sort the tools in the top main drawer of the toolbox from the tools in the bottom drawer. Categories, locations, etc.
Must be able to have tools sorted from different toolboxes, as most mechanics have more than 1 toolbox for their tools.
Ultimately I would like to have the ability for the user to be able to choose their toolbox from a list of toolboxes and then the following categories are specific from this toolboxes. But this might be a challenging aspect, as there are a lot of options for toolboxes out there on the market. But if this is somehow doable, I am open to this option. The main suppliers of toolboxes will be “Matco” and “snapon”. So maybe having all those 2 companies toolbox options and then having a 3rd “other” toolbox option is the way to do it.
Finally, this needs to be a very sleek, modern style app that has an interface the feels expensive.
The developer must speak decent English to be able to communicate effectively to develop this app.
