We’re seeking an experienced developer or team to build a comprehensive app for managing DIY projects related to home, vehicle, and property upkeep. The app will enable users to plan, track, and organize their projects, from creating timelines and budgets to managing task assignments, media, and documentation. Key features include:
**Project Setup and Collaboration**
Create detailed project timelines, assign tasks to team members, and enable collaboration with family or external contacts.
**Media and Receipt Management**
Allow users to save photos, videos, and OCR-scanned receipts for tracking progress and expenses.
**Comprehensive Reporting and Export Options**
Generate customizable reports, export data in multiple formats (PDF, Excel), and share project details with contractors.
**Property-Specific Tracking**
Support for multiple properties, each linked to unique projects and issue tracking.
**Flexible Sharing and Permissions**
Share projects with full or limited permissions, manage in-app access for family and contractors, and allow quick selection of shared content.
**Backend & Security**
The backend must be built on Linux, using PostgreSQL or another open-source, scalable solution. High standards for data encryption and security are essential, with data anonymization to prevent personal identification.
The app will be developed entirely on open-source frameworks, prioritizing security, scalability, and a smooth user experience. No web-based or external portals; all functionality must be accessible through the app only.
