I want to develop a boom height control system for agricultural spraying using the lidar sensor system. It must receive the soil part data and work on different crops. I intend to make a raspberrypi based system using a touchscreen. Or a system using manual buttons, or even an android app that communicates with the system via wifi or bluetooth. There must be possibility of communication between 4 and 5 sensors. We will use the TFMINI PLUS, or the TF02 PRO. I don't understand about communication, it can be UART, IIC, I/O because there will be many meters of cable, so I don't know which one would fit better in terms of data loss.
