Core App Idea
When a customer opens the application:
Step 1 — Search
The user sees a search bar.
Customers can search for:
* itineraries
* travel packages
* hotels
* transport/logistics
* destination-based services
Examples:
* “Manali package”
* “Kerala honeymoon”
* “Munnar trip”
* “hotel in Manali”
* “transport in Kerala”
The app should immediately show:
Package Options
Destination-specific packages with:
* pricing differentiation
* package highlights
* trip duration
* inclusions
* logistics support
The user should have the option to either:
1. Choose a fixed package, OR
2. Customize the itinerary and logistics based on budget
Step 2 — Detailed Itinerary Planning
The core idea is a day-wise itinerary planning system with budget allocation.
Example:
Destination: Manali Trip: 4 nights / 5 days Budget: ₹25,000 for a couple
The app suggests a day-wise budget split.
Example:
Day 1 → ₹5,000 Day 2 → ₹4,000 Day 3 → ₹8,000 Day 4 → ₹5,000 Day 5 → ₹3,000
OR suggest a smarter allocation if needed.
Then customers customize each day.
Example:
Day 1
Budget = ₹5,000
Available options inside app:
Hotels
Multiple hotels within budget
Example:
₹2,000 hotel ₹3,000 hotel ₹4,000 hotel
If user selects:
Hotel = ₹2,000
Remaining budget updates automatically.
Remaining = ₹3,000
Then user chooses:
* transport
* sightseeing
* logistics
* activities
Remaining budget updates dynamically.
The idea is to let customers build a trip while staying inside budget.
Vendor Ecosystem
We also want a vendor dashboard system.
Vendors should be able to:
* update pricing
* update availability
* confirm bookings
* manage inventory
* block unavailable dates
The platform must balance:
B2C customer experience
AND
Vendor usability
Because vendor participation is equally important.
Validation Strategy
We do NOT want to overinvest initially.
Plan:
Phase 1 Trial
* Soft launch to existing customers
* Trial on approximately 500–1,000 users
* Observe behavior
* Learn through trial and error
* Understand customer perspective
* Identify operational failures
* Improve workflows
Initially, bookings may still be manually handled in the backend if needed.
