We are creating a taxi booking app similar to Uber, incorporating several additional features:
1. Real-time Tracking:
For both users and drivers.
2. Card and Cash Payment Options
3. In-app Messaging:
4. Driver and Cab Management:
-Assign one cab to any driver per day. Cabs should not be permanently assigned to a single driver.
-Generate driver daily collection reports with various payment filters.
-Provide driver cab rejection report when receiving the booking alert
-Provide driver cab rejection report after accepting the booking
-Cashier login and auto-display of driver trips for the day or from the previous collection day until the present time.
-Generate cashier collection reports with filters for driver trips and collected amounts.
5. Advanced Booking Features such as Implement heat map configuration in the admin panel for bookings.
6. Introduce surge pricing based on timing, location, and occupancy.
Implement custom surge pricing:
A. Based on timings (e.g., 9-11 AM: 10 Rs/KM for Sedan, 12 Rs/KM for SUV).
B. Based on regions (e.g., South Mumbai: 10% extra, Malad: +1 Rs/KM).
C. Based on available taxis running at a capacity over a user-defined limit.
7. Delivery Module Similar to Porter for package deliveries.
8. Integration with a recommended payment gateway.
9. Separate logins for operators and cashiers with respective admin access. Super Admin can view all operator trips and reports.
10. Customer and Corporate User Management:
-Provide special discounts or free rides for corporate users.
11. Driver Expense Management:
-Driver input screen for toll charges, parking charges, and other expenses, to be settled along with the cash payment to the cashier.
12. Multilingual Support: Support for Arabic language and right-to-left orientation in both web and mobile apps.
13. Comprehensive Testing:
-Develop a unit test document.
-Provide testing reports for each developmental stage.
