Build me an app
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am looking to create an app that i can load onto a kiosk which allows me to update a spreadsheet stored on my Microsoft OneDrive.
I have created sample UI just for reference on how I require the app to look. I have also included a sample dataset
Screen 1
- I would require an on screen number pad for the user to fill out the work order. Once the work order is filled out the user would press "enter". If the work order is not in the dataset then a popup would display "Not Found". If the work order is in the dataset then it would go to the next screen.
The app will then reference the "Stages" columns in the dataset to figure out how many buttons to display. For example: if the user enters the work order "1002", then only stage 3,4,5 buttons are displayed. (Check data image for reference).
Screen 2
- Would display at the top; the work order which was typed on the previous screen, along with the "Packing Slip number" which corresponds to that chosen work order (taken from the dataset). On the left I would require 5 buttons for different "stages" and 2 buttons at the bottom for confirmation ("decline" and "accept"). The user would then click on one of the stages without a checkmark. When a stage is selected, a green checkmark will display beside the stage, and the date and time will be recorded in the corresponding "Work Order" row and "Stage Completed" column in the dataset. Once the checkmark is displayed for their stage then the user can either "accept" the changes or "decline" the changes. If "accepted" then a message appears saying "Update Recorded". If "declined" then it goes back to screen 1.
Users should not be able to edit any previously entered data.
Let me know which way you think would be the best way to get this done. I have looked into android apps as well as creating a VBA through excel and using that as a kiosk.
