Bubble Developer Needed: Add Weekly AI Summary & 3-Day Free Trial
Project Overview
We have an existing, wrapped mobile app for abuse survivors that delivers AI-powered responses to user questions. We need two new premium features built in Bubble (no native rewrap required):
Weekly AI Summary
- Every 7 days, compile the user’s saved Q&A into a six-heading report via OpenAI
- Surface the summary on the dashboard as a glowing, pulsating bubble that expands inline to show the full text. This can be saved to the current History page.
3-Day Free Trial
- Configure Stripe to grant new subscribers a 3-day trial period before billing begins
- Update front-end messaging and subscription logic to reflect the free trial
You already have OpenAI and Stripe fully connected—this role is purely to wire up the Bubble workflows, data model, and UI.
Deliverables
Data & Backend
“WeeklySummary” data type with User, GeneratedAt, and SummaryText fields
Scheduled API Workflow (every 7 days) that retrieves saved Q&A, calls OpenAI, and stores the summarized report
Dashboard UI
Glowing, pulsating bubble on the dashboard that indicates “Weekly Summary”
Inline summary card with six headings and summary text, collapsible/expandable
Free Trial Logic
- Stripe settings to enforce a 3-day trial for new sign-ups
- Front-end updates: messaging on subscription page, trial countdown, and transition to paid status
Testing & QA:
- Verify summaries generate correctly and bubble appears/disappears as expected
- Test new user flows through the free trial into paid subscription
Timeline:
Preferred turnaround: 1–2 days from kickoff
