Bond Quoting App

Job ID: 36001586

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

Overview

We will be creating an App that will display trade signal for bonds and associated ETFs. The App will display model data in the formats specified in the Excel spreadsheets. Note that one spreadsheet is a mockup of the App and the other is the data that will be passed to it via an FTP update provided from the model.

Specifications

1. App Display – We would like to develop a one-page App with containers for the data and tabs to toggle through what is displayed in the container. See the Bond App Display Excel File for the look of the one display page. There will be a Title and container for a blub underneath the Title, then we will have two containers associated with each Tab, one being a description of the information in the Tab and the other being the data associated with the Tab displayed in the specified format. The Bond App Data file will be sent on an interval throughout the day (interval is to be determined).

2. FTP –

a. Set up FTP server and provide credentials so that files can be sent to it from the model
b. Data will be sent in an interval to be determined (might be every 5 minutes throughout the day) and the App should listen for updates and then update as updates are posted.
c. The data should appear in the App tab exactly as provided in the Excel.xlsx file (of course as formatted on the App) being posted to the FTP server.
d. There is no need to store data, only display the data as provided in the Excel.xlsx file as posted to the FTP server and update the App data as soon as the FTP server is updated.

3. Process –

a. Step 1 – set up infrastructure for FTP and connection to App
b. Step 2 – set up App with Title and Containers
c. Step 3 – Test data populating from FTP to App
d. Step 4 – Run test with live data focusing on Trade Signals tab first (a live data sample file is provided)
e. Step 5 – Complete Position and Outcomes tabs
f. Step 6 – Launch App and populate to search engines, IOS / Android, Yahoo Finance, etc.

4. Display Files – see attached (Bond App Display, Bond App Data)
