Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Unity developer to build an Augmented Reality (AR) Outdoor Navigation System for SRM Kattankulathur campus. The system will provide real-time, AR-guided navigation to help students and visitors find their way around the campus using a mobile application. The AR-based system should work seamlessly in outdoor environments without relying on GPS alone, ensuring precise location tracking.

Project Objectives
Develop an AR-based outdoor navigation system that overlays digital navigation paths onto real-world views.
Enable real-time user positioning and pathfinding using AI, AR, and advanced tracking techniques.
Provide an interactive and user-friendly navigation experience for students and visitors.
Ensure compatibility with AR-supported Android devices .

Key Features & Requirements
1. Augmented Reality (AR) Integration
Use Unity Engine with AR Foundation for AR-based visualization.
Implement ARCore (Android) for real-time tracking.
GPS and Computer Vision-based Positioning to detect user location accurately.
Real-time Target Detection: Identify key landmarks, buildings, and paths using virtual markers.

2. Outdoor Mapping & Pathfinding
Create a digital 3D map of SRM Kattankulathur campus using Unity.
Pathfinding Algorithm: Implement AI-based NAVMESH or SLAM for real-time route guidance.
Highlight walkable paths and restricted areas dynamically.
Implement AR-based navigation lines to guide users in real-world space.

3. User Interface (UI/UX)
Destination Selection: Allow users to select buildings, departments, or points of interest via a dropdown menu or search bar.
Mini-map Integration: Display real-time user position and suggested route.
Toggle ON/OFF AR Navigation Lines for flexibility.
Navigation: Users can adjust path height, view, and display options for better visibility.
Voice-Assisted Navigation (Optional) for hands-free guidance.

4. Performance & Device Compatibility
Optimize the system for smooth AR rendering on Android .
Ensure low-latency real-time tracking for accurate navigation.
Minimal dependency on external hardware like RFID, Bluetooth beacons, or expensive sensors.

5. Implementation & Development
Use C# programming in Unity for smooth integration.
Integrate GPS and AR-based positioning for precise outdoor navigation.
Use AI-driven path optimization to provide the shortest and safest routes.
Ensure stable tracking and minimal AR drift in outdoor conditions (varying light, weather, and obstacles).

Project Deliverables
