Barcode Reader - Scan barcode and store text in Knack App
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm looking for a solution as part of a Knack application. The app allows the user to enter information and upload a number of photos and submits the form.
I need the form to include the functionality to read barcodes and store the text in a corresponding field. It can either read a photo of the bar code taken by the user or preferablly, it scans the barcode and the text is stored in a corresponding field in the Knack record.
Each record will need to look at between 40 to 70 barcodes. These text fields will be exported into a formatted Excel spreadsheet possibly using MAKE.com.
Functionality needs to
- be able to handle mutliple types of barcodes
- low cost or at least reasonable one-off cost
- able to be reused on further knack applications
- delivered by 30/07/22
- work with android or ios and knack
In your response, please detail your solution method - how would you go about building this, which systems or coding is required (I have make.com account) what possible limitations will there be, how will the end user experience the functionality....
