Automated Drone Roof Measurement App

I need a small-footprint mobile app that connects to a drone, captures imagery, and automatically turns those photos into reliable roof metrics—specifically surface area, height and slope. Length-and-width readouts are not required.

My ideal workflow is simple:
• Launch the drone, let the app guide or automate the flight, and collect the photos.
• On landing, the imagery is processed on-device (OpenCV, photogrammetry SDKs, or any tool you prefer) to generate a 3D model or orthomosaic.
• From that model the app extracts surface area plus height/slope values and stores everything locally; no cloud link is needed. The data should be easy to view later, export as CSV/PDF, and clear enough for a roofing crew to trust.

I’m aiming to have a working build in hand within a month, so realistic milestones and frequent testable increments are important to me. Final hand-off includes full source code, build instructions and a brief user guide. If you have experience with DJI or similar drone SDKs, on-device photogrammetry, or measurement automation, I’d love to hear how you would tackle it.
