App Developer

We are searching for a high skilled App developer to join and support our growing team to develop web and mobile GIS applications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently without supervision and deliver high-quality and -performance software products in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The position will be for an independent contractor for hire on a project basis.


Responsibilities:

- develop features and functionality for a mobile and web-based geospatial software product
- execute the full life cycle of software product development
- deploy software products on the Apple App Store and Android Play Store
- document the development, testing, and deploying of software products

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HTML5 and CSS3
- 2+ years of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
- 2+ years of Ionic 5 based Hybrid App development
- Experience with Google Cloud Firebase and Firestore
- Experience with JSON and REST based web services
- Experience in developing and deploying hybrid mobile applications

Skills:
- Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
- Experience with Web Mapping APIs such as Leaflet, Mapbox, ArcGIS JS API is a plus
- Experience with offline mapping
- Working knowledge with Stripe
- Familiarity with JSON, REST and XML based web services
- Understanding and experience with implementing software design patterns in Angular
- Ionic Unit testing
- Eye for design
- Strong Debugging/Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
