Project Proposal: Offline AI Powered Transcription Android App (Mobile)
Overview
I’m looking for a developer to help me build a mobile app that provides offline transcription using the phone’s microphone and voice activated wearables with AI capabilities.
The goal is to record audio and convert it into text directly on the device, with everything stored locally (no internet required). And then merge with AI.
Core Features Needed (MVP):
Offline transcription (works without internet)
Record from phone’s built-in microphone
Save audio + transcripts on-device
Pro upgrade for users to buy the app.
More features are planned but are kept private for business reasons.
Starting price: Core features get developed for $50 to publish in the app store. Then I'll pay $2/hour or project based once core features with are developed.
About Me
This is a passion project. I can handle design planning (UI mockups via vibe coding), but I don’t have coding experience — so I need someone who can handle the technical side. If there is a vibe coding software setup you would find helpful, I'll use it.
Best suited for developers who want to add a real-world project to their portfolio
If the app generates income in the future, I will increase payment fairly and appropriately
Looking For
