The objective of this project is to enhance data security and prevent image capture within sensitive areas by dynamically managing smartphone camera access.
The Camera Locking system must:
Disable camera functionality on smartphones when within a defined geofenced area.
Re-enable camera access when users exit the geofenced zone or check out via a QR code.
Provide a user-friendly interface for both Android and iOS platforms.
Offer administrative control for managing geofences and monitoring compliance.
3. Key Functional Requirements
Step-by-Step Functionality
App Installation
The solution must include a mobile app (Android and iOS) Agent.
The app should support secure installation and user authentication.
Check-In Mechanism
Upon arrival, employees/visitors check in through the app.
Check-in may be automatic (via geofencing) or manual.
Camera Access Blocking
Once checked in or within the geofenced area, the app must block the smartphone's camera usage system-wide.
The camera should remain inaccessible as long as the user is within the secure area.
Checkout and Camera Restoration
Camera access must be restored when the user:
Exits the geofenced area, or
Scans a Dynamic Checkout QR code.
The system must ensure a smooth and reliable transition between blocked and unblocked states.

Admin Dashboard: Web-based portal for managing zones, users, and monitoring activity logs.
Security: All communication must be encrypted. App must comply with data protection regulations.
Scalability: System must support multiple sites and thousands of users.

Support & Maintenance: Proposals must include post-deployment support and maintenance plans.
