## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI/ML Solutions Architect (L4) to join our Central AI Centre of Excellence (CoE), supporting a mission-critical Private AI Platform deployed for a leading defense sector client.

The platform is built on Red Hat OpenShift and Run.AI, operating on Dell AI infrastructure with stringent security, compliance, and data residency requirements ensuring all data remains within France.

This role serves as the highest level of technical escalation and advisory support, providing architecture leadership, AI/ML platform optimization, security vulnerability assessment, vendor management, release governance, and strategic roadmap planning. The position will work closely with France-based L1/L2 support and AI/ML Operations teams while delivering expert guidance from India.

## Key Responsibilities

### L4 Technical Advisory

* Act as the highest escalation point for complex AI/ML platform issues.
* Provide expert architectural guidance and advanced troubleshooting support.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to client technical leadership on AI/ML platform strategy and architecture.

### Vulnerability Management

* Monitor security advisories from Red Hat, NVIDIA, Dell, Run.AI, Mistral AI, and other technology partners.
* Analyze security risks, recommend remediation strategies, and coordinate vulnerability resolution activities.
* Ensure critical vulnerabilities are addressed within defined SLAs.

### Release Management

* Evaluate vendor software releases for compatibility with the existing AI platform ecosystem.
* Define release readiness criteria, rollback strategies, and deployment governance.
* Maintain release schedules aligned with business and compliance requirements.

### Knowledge Management

* Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge repositories.
* Promote documentation standards and operational excellence across teams.

### AI/ML Platform Optimization

* Advise on AI workload scheduling, GPU utilization, resource allocation, and platform performance optimization.
* Recommend best practices for AI/ML operations in secure private cloud environments.

### Technology Roadmap & Innovation

* Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and vendors.
* Identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining security and compliance requirements.
* Contribute to long-term platform strategy and modernization initiatives.

### Training & Enablement

* Design and deliver technical training programs for operational teams.
* Conduct workshops on OpenShift, Run.AI, Dell AI infrastructure, security best practices, and platform operations.

### CoE Participation

* Represent the L4 advisory function in quarterly AI Centre of Excellence engagements.
* Contribute to roadmap discussions, industry trend analysis, and platform improvement initiatives.

## Required Skills & Expertise

* Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes-based platforms.
* Hands-on experience with Run.AI workload orchestration and GPU scheduling.
* Strong knowledge of Dell AI infrastructure and enterprise AI environments.
* Extensive experience in AI/ML platform architecture and MLOps.
* Strong understanding of secure private AI deployments and on-premise AI environments.
* Experience with vulnerability management, security governance, and compliance frameworks.
* Vendor management and multi-stakeholder collaboration experience.
* Excellent documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.
* Ability to operate independently in a remote advisory role.

## Required Experience

* 7+ years of experience in AI/ML platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise platform engineering.
* Proven experience managing enterprise-scale AI/ML environments.
* Strong background in release management and vulnerability assessment.
* Experience supporting secure, private, or air-gapped AI environments.
* Exposure to defense, aerospace, government, or other highly regulated industries.
* Demonstrated experience delivering technical training and mentoring engineering teams.

## Education

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
* Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Certifications
* CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent security certifications
