MicroStrategy Upgrade & Dashboards
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need my current MicroStrategy ONE environment (version 19.4) lifted to the most recent release, with the clear objective of gaining noticeably improved performance across the platform. Once the environment is running on the latest build, five medium-complexity dashboards focused on customer data must be designed and published.
Upgrade scope
• Review and document the 19.4 configuration, repositories, and security model.
• Execute the server, metadata, and Workstation upgrades, validating each step until all services run on the newest version.
• Re-point existing connections and certify that report execution times meet or exceed previous benchmarks.
Dashboard scope
Each dashboard will present customer data using the full range of visualization styles we rely on—charts and graphs for quick trend spotting, tables and grids for detailed records, and interactive maps for location-based insights. Designs should follow our current brand guidelines and remain fully responsive for both Web and Mobile clients.
Deliverables
1. Production environment upgraded and signed off after performance testing.
2. Five finished dashboards (.dossier files) with:
– Live connections to existing datasets
– Role-based security applied
– At least one chart/graph, grid, and map per dashboard
3. A brief hand-off guide outlining any new features leveraged in the upgrade and steps to extend the dashboards.
All work must stay within native MicroStrategy tools—Command Manager, Workstation, Enterprise Manager, and Administration Portal—so future maintenance remains straightforward.
