VSTO Add-in MSIX Packaging and CI/CD
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I'm looking for an experienced developer to help transition our VSTO COM add-in for Word into an MSIX installer. This will improve our update management process.
Key objectives:
- Package the existing add-in into an MSIX installer.
- Set up a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to:
- Build and package
- Sign and deploy
- Perform automated tests
- Ensure the MSIX package can be installed from the web.
- Make the MSIX package available on Microsoft Store for Business.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency with MSIX packaging.
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with code-signing certificates, particularly from SSL.com.
- Knowledge of distributing applications via the Microsoft Store for Business.
- Strong background in automation and testing.
