Microsoft Purview Expert Needed for Data Mapping and Classified Protection
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview expert to assist us with setting up Purview to detect, classify and protect sensitive content and provide appropriate guidance for ongoing management and maintenance.
Ideally, we would like to be able to:
- Establish a set of 3-4 classification levels
- Create sensitivity labels to reflect each of the set classification levels
- Prevent files from being shared in inappropriate ways
- Protect files from deletion for a specific period, or delete the file automatically after a specified period.
- Establish policies that require users to apply a sensitivity label when they save a file or send an email, thereby classifying new content.
- Create auto-labelling policies that apply labels automatically to older content, based on the detection of sensitive information types and other criteria.
- Assist with working through improvement actions, providing an action plan where required for in-house non-IT specialists to work through.
- Support setup and guidance for ongoing in-house management of Data Mapping Procedures and Data Lifecycle Management
All content is stored in one specific SharePoint site, with users synchronising these locations to their devices using OneDrive sync app, and interact with the files through Finder (macOS). The data is typically in Microsoft Office file formats, with other types of content less frequently represented.
