Created and Deleted a Big Directory and Recycle Bin Entries, but Didn’t Get Back All of the Space
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
1. I created a directory on an external drive with 100,000 small files in it.
2. I deleted 30,000 of them at once. It took an hour to run.
3. I deleted the Recycle Bin entries. It took hours then said “Working On It” for hours.
4. I am missing 30GB from my C drive free space.
5. I closed the Recycle Bin and now it just says “This folder is empty”.
I want to get back the 30GB on my C drive and it would be nice if I can delete the other 70,000 files from the external drive. I want it to not put them in the Recycle Bin.
