Word Template for book layout

I need an experienced Microsoft Word (Word 365) designer to build a professional, clean, easy-to-use Word Template (.dotx) and Source Document (.docx) for a book series. This template will be used for multiple titles in an ongoing “Fun Facts / Mind-Blown™” series.

The layout is NOT complex — but it does require someone who understands Word styles, StyleRef fields, bookmarks, and page layout for print books (KDP-style formatting).

A short PDF with exact specifications is attached. Please review it before submitting your bid.

Project Overview
You will create:

Word Template (.dotx) – 6×9, mirror margins, gutter, StyleRef headers, prebuilt chapters, and 7 recurring sections per chapter (Weird & Fun Facts, Myths – Busted, Legends, Did You Know?, Story Moment, Quiz, Quiz Answers + optional extra section placeholder).

Source Document (.docx) – with bookmarks for BookTitle, Chapter titles, section labels, etc.

Short instruction sheet – 1–2 pages explaining how to update titles, section names, replace header images, and export to PDF.

Technical Requirements
• Use Styles only (no direct formatting)
• Use StyleRef and bookmark-based REF fields for linking
• No unnecessary section breaks
• Must export cleanly to PDF (no blank pages or weird spacing)
• Must work in Microsoft Word 365 on Windows

Payment Terms
Payment will be made only after full project completion and approval.
A single milestone will be created for the full amount and released only when all deliverables meet the attached specifications.
