Technical Ebook Formatting and Editing

I have a technical / instructional e-book drafted in Microsoft Word that now needs a professional finish. I want you to step in and take full ownership of two areas: first, the complete formatting of the document so it looks publication-ready; second, a careful edit that polishes language, flow, and accuracy without altering my voice.
On the formatting side, I expect consistent styles for every heading level, body text, captions, and code snippets; a clean, clickable table of contents; page-break logic that keeps sections tidy; and fonts that render well on the major e-reader platforms. All this work must be done directly inside Word, using its built-in style system rather than manual, ad-hoc tweaks.
For editing, I’m looking for a thoughtful line edit: tighten sentences, resolve grammar or spelling slips, flag any ambiguities, and make sure technical terminology is used consistently throughout. Comments and change tracking should stay on so I can review every suggestion.
