Streamline Report Writing in Microsoft Word

Job ID: 35029477

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I use Microsoft word to write inspection reports. I would like to learn how to insert a multiple select drop down box where I can select one or multiple comments from a drop down list to display in my report and if none of the comments apply to have the ability to type my own comment. Some comments are lengthy, several sentences.

I'd like my selections to display with bullet point and the comment.

For example, I inspected a house and inspected the dryer vent. The drop down list might have the following comments:

- Dryer vent needs cleaning.
- Dryer vent is damaged and needs repair by an HVAC technician.
- Plastic foil dryer vent is a fire hazard, replace with a rigid aluminum dryer for safety.
- Dryer vent does not vent properly to exterior of home.

Maybe for this house the first 3 comments apply. I'd like to be able to check each comment that applies and then have it display in that section of the report.

I'd like a word specialist to take a look at the report writing document I use in Microsoft word and help be find ways to make it quicker to write reports and to reduce typing and repetitive time consuming clicks, etc.
