Paper Text to Word Transcription
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a stack of paper-based text documents that must be faithfully transcribed into Microsoft Word. Every page is straight text—no tables or numbers—so the focus is absolute accuracy, consistent formatting and careful proofreading as you type.
The workflow is simple: I will scan and upload clear PDFs of the originals. You’ll then create a single, well-structured Word document (or one file per source, if that proves cleaner) that mirrors the layout, headings and paragraph breaks found on the paper copies.
Deliverables:
• Final .docx files reflecting the source text verbatim, free of typos
• A brief change log noting any illegible sections you flagged for clarification
If you are a fast, detail-oriented typist with solid Word skills and an eye for clean formatting, I would love to get this started right away.
