460-Page Word Reformat

I have a 460-page project report that already contains all the text, charts, and images it needs, but its layout is different from the required format. Your task is to rebuild the file in Microsoft Word so every structural element is handled correctly—no rewriting, just professional formatting.

Here is what I need done:

• Apply a unified set of heading styles, reorganising sections and subsections where required so that Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. flow logically.
• Insert and fine-tune section breaks and page breaks so each chapter starts on a new page without disturbing the numbering that follows.
• Redesign headers and footers: consistent page numbering, correct chapter titles, and mirrored margins for double-sided printing.
• Standardise all fonts (family, size, and spacing) across body text, headings, tables, and figure captions.
• Assign proper Word captions to every table and figure, then generate an automatic List of Tables and List of Figures.
• Build an automatic Table of Contents based on the refreshed heading styles.
• Ensure all tables stay within page margins, remain editable, and carry uniform borders and shading.

I will send the current .docx plus a short style guide. Please return a clean, fully formatted Word document that updates instantly if I add or remove content. Familiarity with Word’s Styles pane, Navigation view, and References tools is a must; no third-party add-ins should be required.
